BIOGRAPHY OF THE AUTHOR:
The author's name is Danijela Ćuk, she was born on May 25, 1989 in Vukovar and lives in Čavle (Croatia). The author writes poetry and prose and has so far published three independent collections of poetry and participated in over 30 joint collections of poetry.
Her poetry has been published in numerous international magazines and portals and has been awarded numerous diplomas and awards.
In addition to writing, the author also volunteers in an association for children with developmental disabilities.
All proceeds from the sales of her collections have gone to humanitarian purposes so far.
1. I LIVE THROUGH POETRY
I write from the heart and breathe poetry,
and do you know what else I'm going to tell you?
My poetry is not shaped by empty words,
but emotions that are made of life's splendor,
in which lives a lot of hugs.
Behind the verses I write,
not only shine and light stand, no,
but also traces of pain in a wounded heart,
and some tears that remain.
Every fall I've been through,
he only strengthened my heart,
and that's why I don't curse him but thank him,
because it is to his credit that my verses exist today.
In the web of life intertwined with joy and pain,
the power of poetry that makes me alive was born,
though I love the sunshine of life,
I thank you even in gray form.
2.I'M HERE...
I'm here to give you a hand,
to feel life with you,
to embrace you with my soul,
to help you build a home for your happiness.
I'm here and I won't leave, no,
until the sun rises in your life,
and even when it dawns, know one thing,
your smile shines brighter than a diamond.
If everyone crushes and tramples you,
I won't either, don't worry
I will share good and bad with you,
and help you never hit rock bottom!
These are not empty words,
there's my hug to stop your pain,
to heal your wounded heart
and show the right path to happiness.
3.I'M KEEPING YOU
I keep you in my heart and soul,
I won't let anyone break and tear down your strength,
if you need me, feel free to contact me,
every moment is the right one.
If everyone leaves you, neither will I,
I'll be your guiding star,
I will lead you in the ways of strength,
to places where communities of love are built.
Lean on me, trust me,
you can trust me
I'm not one of those who are there for good,
and when it thickens, they just disappear.
I'm taking care of you...
Don't doubt it,
we will enjoy the good together
and defeat evil.
