Abstract:
Athletics play an important role in strengthening human health and forming a healthy lifestyle. This article covers the historical development of athletics, its sports and importance in human life. At the same time, the role of athletics in the education of young people, their success in the international sports field, and the unlimited opportunities achieved in this field will be discussed. Athletics develops not only physical fitness, but also the qualities of a person, such as will, perseverance and striving for a goal.

Athletics: A Source of Healthy Lifestyles and Unlimited Possibilities. Athletics is one of the most ancient and natural physical activities of mankind, and it is of incomparable importance in strengthening health, strengthening the will and improving the quality of life. This sport is formed on the basis of natural movements such as running, jumping, and throwing, and today it is one of the most popular sports at the international level. Athletics play an important role not only in improving physical health, but also in ensuring psychological stability. Within this topic, the historical development of athletics, its place in modern society and its importance for human health are considered. Also, the role of athletics in raising the young generation to be physically and spiritually perfect, the successes achieved in international competitions, and the unlimited opportunities available in this field will be detailed. Athletics is not only a sport, but a force that unites people and encourages them to a healthy lifestyle. Therefore, this article analyzes the positive impact of this type of sport on human life and its wide possibilities.

Historical Development of Athletics. Athletics has been developed as a natural form of activity since the earliest times of mankind. The first Olympic Games held in ancient Greece marked the main stages of this sport. In those times, exercises such as running, jumping and throwing were considered not only physical training, but also a means of testing human will and courage. At the end of the 19th century and the beginning of the 20th century, athletics became a professional sport and gained its place in international competitions. Types of athletics and their characteristics. Athletics includes a number of sports, which are grouped as follows. Running: Short, middle and long distance running, relay and steeplechase. These exercises develop a person's speed, endurance and coordination. Jumping: long jump, high jump, triple jump and pole vault. These types increase the athlete's strength, agility and balance. Throwing: Shot Put, Javelin Throw, Discus Throw and Hammer Throw. These exercises strengthen the upper body and increase accuracy. All-around: A combination of several athletics disciplines, it develops a versatile athlete. Importance of Health and Lifestyle. Athletics plays an important role in health care. It helps to strengthen the cardiovascular system, lose excess weight and increase immunity. Also, this type of sport improves psychological health, reduces stress and depression. Regular participation in athletics makes a person mentally and physically resilient. The Role of Athletics in Youth Education. Athletics is an important factor in providing not only physical, but also spiritual education to young people. It develops in children such qualities as will, discipline and striving for the goal. Sports competitions form a team spirit in young people and prepare them for social life.
