Yang Siping (poem) - Prepared for publication by Anna Keiko
恒山醒着

所有的山都已沉睡,
风沙并未减退。

在主峰我捡起一块亘古的石头,
压实悬空寺的三教合流。

我站在降龙树痛楚的叶尖,
永久供奉你的素面朝天。

Hengshan Mountian Stays Awake
Yang Siping

All mountains fall into a slumber,
Sandstorm abates itself not.

I pick up an ancient stone on the peak,
Proof of the three amalgamated religions.

I stand on the tip of dragon wood’s leave,
An eternal oblation to your unmarred countenance.

Note: The poem "Mount Heng is awake" was carved on a stone tablet and erected in front of the mountain temple on Mount Heng in 2018.Mount Heng nestled in Hunyuan County, Datong City, Shanxi Province of China.Nestled in Hunyuan County, Datong City, Shanxi Province of China, The Hanging Temple is not only an architectural miracle set on the cliffs of Mount Heng, but also the only monastery in China that combines Buddhist, Taoist, and Confucianism, which is the material carrier of the Chinese "culture of harmony".
