Bodies are Flying in Smoke
Niloy Rafiq
There’s a fire hood in the heart of the sacred root
Today the fragrant garden is shrouded in blood
Weeping ceaselessly in prayer with folded hands
The bodies of my relatives are flying in smoke.
The barbaric leader is a cruel gobbler
Hateful dirt is woven into the veins of his words
Nice people of the world are spitting on his face
Where will he escape from the court of nature?
The peace bomb of Palestine is the light of humanity
A unity of rebellion lies in the hearts broken by separations
The madness of the waves is the scent of inspiration
The homeland-- the life of a free bird-- is on the path to victory.

The Earth Melancholic
Niloy Rafiq
No vital words may be heard in the forbidden night.
Winter has settles firmly, the beloved is far away-
What a chaos is there in the electricity!
Ready to swim in the Ganges water after learning sexual desire.
Spreads the wings in search of fertile soil
After summoning to a dusty road.
God is beneath the feet! What an astonishment!
Clouds march in slogans, 'Come, my friend!'
While going to make the flowers blooming
The tended garden drops like dew
Drawing a streak of gloom
On the earth's melancholic face.
