MEMORIRS OF A SHEPHERD
At dawn my sister's goat will give birth
Two lambs this village will become bigger
And sticks grow longer..
The goat jumps over the hills
of the village celebrating the sun
And the wild wolf hides in the valley
And I am sleeping under the shadow of the rock
Who will convince this wolf of my helplessness?
Between the village and the pasture
My song fell asleep and the goats walked His bells babbling
in my head And I and my stick The wind rustles We sing
And the dust of his hooves fills this horizon We sing:
We have returned, our village, we have returned
And the wolf is sad in the valley.
In the afternoon I will bring my flocks in
And the village girls will fill the bank with laughter
Lighting up the water One of them sees me as skins
And the other as meat and milk
Welcome...
The smell of the river intoxicates me and I cry
So I light up..
I light up the village with dreams and fall asleep
At dawn my sister's goat will give birth to two lambs
And this village will become more...
