"TEARS OF A CANDLE "

Last day, I saw a candle.

It was weeping, and I asked,

"Why you cryin', candle?

You ain't even human."

And the candle replied,

"I cry for them folks who give

bad memories to orphans

in this cold winter.

You got all them luxuries,

but have you ever thought

'bout them homeless ones?

I cry for them who can't feel

the pain of humanity,

them who don't know the sorrow

of them poor, homeless children."

In the darkness, them tears

of the candle fall silently,

carryin' the weight of compassion

and empathy for them less fortunate.

It reminds us to open our hearts

and minds to them struggles of others,

to lend a helpin' hand to them in need.

Let's create a world where no child feels

the chill of winter without a home,

where love and kindness conquer indifference.

May we be the light that guides,

the warmth that comforts,

and the hope that sparks change.

Together, we can make a difference

and bring solace to them who yearn

for a brighter tomorrow.

"NOT YOUR FABRIC DOLL"

I'm a girl, not your fabric doll,

Not meant to be played with,

Don't toss me in the dust bin,

For I am human, not an object.

First, see me as a person,

Consider my gender with empathy,

Why steal my right to education?

I cry, but no one seems to care.

I raise my voice, but it falls on deaf ears,

Do you lack a heart within your chest?

Oh, man, why deny your daughters education,

A vital key to their empowerment?

I hold no hatred in my heart,

But I yearn to awaken your eyes,

Open them wide, oh traditional men,

Your sisters, your daughters, they deserve more.

Let them chase their dreams,

Not be bound by childhood marriages,

May my voice echo through the sky,

A bird's song of knowledge and change.

Don't hinder me, for I am a brave girl,

I'll fight for the right to education,

With every breath, till my last,

For the sake of a brighter future.

"WINTER IS MY COMPANION"

Winter, oh how I adore you,

My faithful companion through and through.

When the world falls silent and still,

The trees, the river, and the moonlight thrill.

Sitting by the cozy fireplace's glow,

Raindrops falling on me, a delightful show.

Innocent birds take flight in the sky,

While my cat sleeps on my lap, a comforting sigh.

Her gentle kisses upon my cheeks,

As I read books in blankets, my heart speaks.

I feel like a December-born girl,

Embracing winter's charm, a precious pearl.

The mountains, the birds, the swaying grass,

And the twinkling lights of the New Year's mass.

Touching the warm mug, sipping tea and soup,

Wearing a long coat, in winter's embrace I loop.

Winter, my dear friend, you bring such delight,

With your beauty and magic, day and night.

I cherish every moment, every wintery scene,

For in this season, my soul feels serene.
