THE BROOK

It looked shallow-
crossing,
I slipped,

ABOUT THE POET
Sim Wooki is a South Korean poet whose work explores human existence through nature, ordinary objects, and everyday experience. His poems often begin with familiar images and gradually open into questions of silence, survival, memory, disappearance, and being. His language is simple and tactile, allowing images to carry meaning while leaving space for silence and resonance.
