Abeera Mirza is a multilingual poet, writer, educator, and professor from Pakistan, specializing in English Language and Literature. She has established herself as a prominent figure in the literary world, publishing her work in esteemed publications globally, including Hopes of Hopes, Poetic Essence Publications, Blue Star Publication (India), The Maverick (Pakistan), Orfeual (Kosovo), Gazeta Distinaconi (Albania), and The Rave Cage Zine (Germany).
Abeera Mirza is the author of the poetry collection “ Jar of Emotions” and has written numerous international articles. In addition , she is the part of over 200 International Literary Magazines and anthologies.
She views poetry as a powerful medium for expressing complex emotions and ideas, and seeks to promote positivity, love, hope, and mercy through her writing. Her work aims to raise awareness about social responsibilities and human rights.
In addition to her literary pursuits, Abeera Mirza has extensive experience in education, having served as a faculty member of English Language at the University of Punjab, Pakistan. She is also a reviewer for the prominent writing community, Maverick Writing Community, and currently works as a professor in Pakistani colleges.

Soul on Fire
I’m stuck in this pain.
Looking for a gain.
A release from this inner strain.
The brightness of my rage,
I’m stuck in this cage.
Unable to describe my inner stage.
My inner frustration is getting tired.
Within me, there is a fire.
That is fueling my desire.
To seek control,
Over every turmoil
That takes my soul.
The fast racing of my mind,
Is trying to find,
A way to calm this frustrating grind.
My heart is breaking apart,
From the weight of this inner
frustration’s heavy heart.
I’m drowning in stress,
Surrounded by this mess.
Longing for peace from this distress.
Tears fall like rain.
Washing away my pain.
Trying to figure out my gain
I’m craving for a calm.
Seeking a soothing balm.
To heal this constant alarm.
I’m dealing with my storm,
Trying to transform and perform.
By staying conform and calm.
