I AM LIKE A LIGHTNING FLAME
In visions,
moments of light or darkness
I stretched out my arms and searched,
I caught life,
I squeezed it hard.
I begged him to forgive me.
life's breath, Khayyam seed.
Do you know what he told me?
disregarding fear and fame...?
- I am like a flash of lightning
in the endless millennia
Where will you lie alone?
like a substance without soul or light...!
THE PHILOSOPHER'S DEATH
In the philosopher's head they sleep
two thousand questions and a thousand ideas
in a nutshell
and many unsaid...
The painful steppes and doubts
added questions about the lamps installed
shared ideas for the expected lamps.
When one day he dared to express
just three doubts and one idea,
The rats rushed at him and choked him,
just like in Troy Laocoön and his sons
They killed the snakes for the lie...
Other questions and ideas were extinguished.
and the bag remained empty...
The mice wore cloth suits,
they said about the philosopher:
- Pretend to be asleep...!
GREED NEAR THE NARROW HOUSE
Man within the time saved
all my life with chameleon-like appearance...
In seven folds of sin,* soaked,
like drawing with black carbon lines.
The greed of the fragile - a star at the zenith,
in the fever of fire, eye, hand, and soul,
The eagle is drowned in a swamp by a vulture.
with cancer metastases and the Covid virus.
Looking like a god or goddess without a flaw
screens with false colors, the covetous,
million upon millions as from another gen...
The Table of Olympus*, greatness of the God!*...
Villa with seven bedrooms and seven bathrooms
between nine* heavens like paradise...
From the roof of our head, the laraska marks us
the narrow two square meter apartment...
note:
* The Seven Sins of Purgatory, Part II of Dante's "Comedy"
* Olympus - considered a sacred mountain, like Tomori for the Illyrians - Albanians
* Zeus - the chief god in antiquity
