They are writing the epics of our time—not merely offering simplified retellings of ancient myths and Puranas, but forging a fresh pathway toward the future of modern humanity.
*Sudhakar Gaidhani* is the very embodiment of this modern sage. He composes in a grand, epic style, complete with deep philosophical insights, yet he speaks in a language that pulses with the realities of today. His work captivates the modern reader through its sheer relevance. His poetry is like Surya, the life-giving sun. It is not the faint glimmer of a distant star, nor the cold reflection of the moon; it is the vital, radiant source that sustains life itself. Gaidhani’s works have taken root and flourished across continents, and anyone who translates his poetry effectively carries this vibrant Indian sunlight back to their own homeland.
To translate his work is, first and foremost, an act of inner awakening. It illuminates the translator’s own life, fostering greater self-awareness and opening new horizons in their own creative journey. *

*Yet, I am not a dark shadow*, *but a creative one*—a sheltering shade that helps convey to the modern reader the subtle nuances of a worldview that might otherwise be blinded by the glare of materialism and the illusion of mere profit (Maya).
The translator’s sacred task is to filter out the modern obsession with material accumulation and distinguish it from the true essence of success. Material wealth is fleeting; it remains behind when our time on earth ends. But a work of true spiritual depth is eternal. It endures for centuries, serving as a guiding light—a textbook for generations to come. Worldly wealth is always at the mercy of the times, but true literary and spiritual talent is forever immune to inflation.
