Madaminova Ogiloy - poem

We used to walk around in school,
We used to play and laugh carefree.
We didn't know at that time,
The last bell would ring.
What it means to be an adult,
Now that we've grown up, we know.
The days we've been waiting for are waiting for us,
The last bell is ringing.
Sometimes we didn't like going to school.
But now we're sad,
The last bell is ringing.
We were children in our childhood,
We didn't even like studying.
We didn't know about adult life,
The last bell is ringing.
When my teachers would give me advice,
I wouldn't listen back then.
Now I realize my mistakes,
The last bell is ringing.
Big life is very merciless,
It is like my unforgiving "tyrant" teacher,
The last bell is ringing.
In the ocean of life,
Will I now reach my destination?
O bell, show me the way,
Ring and lead me to the right path.
