tek buzëqeshja jote fluturoi
papritmas unë pashë vallëzimin
e çuditshëm që gjethet kishin filluar
përpara syve të mi
edhe në gjumin
e vdekjes së tyre
ashtu si dikur, ato këndonin sërish
sepse asgjë nuk vdes
jeta vetëm ndryshon
ritmin dhe veshjen.

Wind blew
the fallen leaves
death took over
the sidewalk when
my mind
ran to your smile
suddenly I saw the strange
dance leaves had just commenced
in front of my eyes
and in the slumber
of their death
as if alive they sang
nothing dies
life only changes
its rhythm and dress.
