MY TRUE LOVE
In the unspoken language
Of the silence deep within your gaze
I saw us wrapped in a beautiful tomorrow:
Like clouds that kiss the rain,
Like roses loving their thorns,
Like butterflies dancing with bees
All lost in ecstasy.
In that single moment, in a single glance,
You unveiled a world full of love.
Written in the drifting clouds
And through the sun’s shimmering beams;
Etched in the rustling, falling leaves,
I found the sailing ship of my dreams.
I caught the scent of the sea, the reality
Of true love and the bond, we share.
Friends we were, but that was love in disguise;
Until the truth finally dawned on me,
Chasing away my blues.
You are my true love,
And my love for you will be forever true.
Tears fall like rain from the grey clouds;
Autumn drops of sorrow overpower my thoughts.
Drizzling on white paper, emotions unfold;
Fragrance of spring comes wafting by, untold.
Heartaches remain with a bouquet of smiles,
Carved inside, to chase away the pain I feel inside.
Your smiling face in the sky
Tell me everything is alright.
Spring smile spreads through the night,
Moments of happiness electrify my veins in delight.
I embrace you with kisses on your lips,
And sail silently through the nights in my dreams.
