Sevinch Kuvvatova - poem

An angel’s face, a shining light,
A morning star, a beacon bright.
Without you, the earth would lack grace —
My kind and loving mother, full of embrace.
Your words are like sugar, like honey they flow,
A thousand poems could barely show
How your beauty fills this world with glow —
My kind and loving mother, you know.
Your smile reflects a world of care,
Your words teach love that's always fair.
Even your silence carries prayer —
My kind and loving mother, rare.
For you, the heavens built a home,
Because of you, the world has shone.
No gift I bring could match your charm —
My kind and loving mother, calm.
I wish to walk a path so true,
If I must, I'll walk the world for you.
These simple verses may not do —
But Mother, my love belongs to you.
