TRAIN TICKET
A small piece of paper,
Weighing nothing, devoid of tenderness,
I read it,
Every word seems unrelated to me.
Who would have known
That it would cause me sleepless nights,
Make me sorrowful.
I don't know what it signifies,
But I understand
That some things, once etched in memory,
Become unforgettable.

Anna Keiko, formerly known as Wang Xianglian, was born in Wuyuan County, Jiangxi Province. She writes poems and paints. She's published 11 poetry collections, with her poems translated into over 40 languages and published in 60+ countries. Her paintings have been exhibited in many countries like France and Indonesia. She's also been invited to international poetry festivals in multiple countries and won over 30 international poetry awards.
