Poem by Pritha Lahiri (Prepared Angela Kosta)
PRITHA LAHIRI

THE PUPPET

I am a blind follower
As blind
As blind can be
I know not how to
Voice my views,
Hee hee.

My spine is soft
My voice mellow
My muscles flaccid
Are they.

You can ply me
When you want
I am pliant
Anyway.

 My head is small
 My limbs though tall
 My speech is droll
 Too.

My heart?
Oh, I misplaced it
Ages ago.
What about you?
