Poem by Muhammad Rahhal
Title: SPEAK, SPEAK, REPEAT, AND REMIND.
Don't think again.
Ponder my words, ponder, and remember.
Return to your Lord and reflect.
Don't deviate, don't deny.
Don't reproach, don't criticize, and don't deny any action.
Wake up and pray Fajr early.
Close your door.
Stay up at night, seek forgiveness, recite, and remind.
To see the souls of the servants plot.
How many times they deny.
They forget the goodness of one another and don't reflect.
Appearances are deceiving in the early morning.
No one is to be blamed.
Whoever sees a sin, changes it and denies it.
The imam of the mosque leads the night prayer drunk.
He mixes with men.
The atmosphere is clouded by prostitutes and harem girls.
The prostitute has become corrupt and continues to deny.
And he denies this every day.
They played with them like a clown.
In every land, the dust settles and appears.
They spend the night dancing. Their legitimate time is staying up late.
Speak, speak, and spread the good news.
Swim in the sea.
And listen to the words of those who set their sights and are present.
