Christine Cézanne-Thauss was born in Vienna, Austria, where she is still living. She is retired as a teacher, but is still working as an artist and a historian.
The artist took part in several of local and international exhibitions, art fairs and workshops - as eg. in Ausria, Germany, France, Great Britain, Greece, Hungary, Italy, India, Portugal, Russia, South Korea, Uruguay, Panama, Colombia, the Netherlands, Peru, Turkey, the Philippines, Switzerland, Japan, the USA, Nepal, Vietnam, Thailand,...
Christine Cézanne-Thauss is engaged in social projects combined with art and she also works in public space.
She was a founder member of „Vienna Travelgallery“, a gallery situated in Vienna from 2010-2013.
2015, together with an artist friend, she founded the „erste wiener frauenwunder“ (Viennese women ́s miracle), an artist association that critically questions cultural business.
For school year 2016/17 she designed the cover of both the Vienna teacher ́s pocket calendar and the matching class calendar for teachers of compulsory schools. 2022 she designed the wine label for the winery Grosz, situated in Burgenland, a province of Austria.
2023 a crime story book 32 prickelde Wien Krimis. I’m Kaffeehaus“(32 crime stories taking place in Vienna – at the coffee shops) was published with the artists illustrations (total of 33 illustrations and the coverdrawing).
As a painter her favorite theme is the human being, especially women. In her paintings she specializes on women and their role in our society. In a lot of works the interest of the artist in fairy tales and old myths is shown.
Christine Cézanne-Thauss is a member of IG-Bildende Kunst, International Association of Art to the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization, UNESCO.
The artist is an ambassador of “The Art Pivot”, a center of contemporary art and ideas, representing Austria.

Christine Cézanne-Thauss was born in Vienna, Austria, where she still resides. Retired as a teacher, she continues to work as an artist and historian. Her artistic journey has taken her to various local and international exhibitions, art fairs, and workshops in numerous countries.
Christine is deeply engaged in social projects that combine art and public space. She was a founding member of "Vienna Travelgallery" and co-founded the "erste wiener frauenwunder" (Viennese Women's Miracle), an artist association that critically questions cultural business.
She has designed covers for educational calendars and wine labels, and illustrated a crime story book
 titled "32 prickelde Wien Krimis. I’m Kaffeehaus" (32 Crime Stories Taking Place in Vienna – at the Coffee Shops).
As a painter, her favorite theme is the human being, especially women, often reflecting her interest in fairy tales and old myths. Christine is a member of IG-Bildende Kunst and an ambassador of "The Art Pivot," representing Austria.
