Poems
Shoulder of Trust
I was walking my lost feelings
when a flash of hope
sang a lullaby
to the extinguished lantern
from behind frozen mirrors
and cracked images
and lit it again with its miracle hand...
For a while now,
the ear of my hope
has been watching
my lost dreams
slipping past the nail of fatigue
beneath the shoulder of trust
under the excuse
of sunlight.
The Grip of Life
When
a shroud-wrapped hyena
descends from the sky of humanity,
unaware of any faith or creed,
not by force—
but by deceiving its own kin,
like a crawling creature,
a biting beast
in the silence of night,
stepping forward with deceit—
Then truly,
from its beak comes
the sound of hatred and pain,
and from its presence
life suffocates.
At that moment,
the human soul no longer waits for light
and declares:
the age of humanity has ended,
and the spirit of humankind is destroyed.
The Warmth of Hands
I know
behind your denying smile
and overflowing pride
there is affection
like the manifestation of the sun.
When the warmth of your hands
and fingertips
aim at the pomegranate,
my poetic words
become voices
for your red seeds
and cry out
true love.
Yes—
love means:
a denying smile,
overflowing pride,
persistence,
and continuity.
