THE MAGIC OF CHRISTMAS
In December’s chill, when the nights grow long,
The world awakens to a timeless song.
Snowflakes dance in the icy air,
And joy and hope are everywhere.
The bells in the steeple begin to chime,
Marking the rhythm of Christmas time.
Children’s laughter fills the streets,
A melody sweet, a festive beat.
Homes are adorned with holly and light,
A beacon of warmth in the winter’s bite.
The scent of pine and cookies baked,
A feast of love and memories made.
Beneath the tree, gifts brightly wrapped,
Dreams and wishes carefully trapped.
Yet Christmas holds a gift unseen,
A bond of love, serene, pristine.
The story of shepherds beneath a star,
Following its glow from lands afar.
A humble stable, a manger bare,
A child of promise sleeping there.
Carols rise, their echoes soar,
Through frosted panes and open doors.
"Peace on Earth" the choirs sing,
The timeless hope the season brings.
Yet Christmas isn’t just a day,
But a spirit we carry in life’s fray.
A chance to give, to share, to care,
To brighten the lives of those who despair.
So as the snow falls, soft and slow,
And the fires in hearths continue to glow,
Let’s keep the magic, the joy, the cheer,
And carry Christmas throughout the year.
