Arundhati Konwar, poem

Arundhati Konwar, poem
RECITATION OF MEMORIES

Confined there, the dialogue of sunlight,
The prismatic address of yours.
Now I advance slowly, seeking the location
Of the melodic season of moonlit night,
The harmonious tone of youth's vibrant song.
The unsteady river of sentiments longs
To breach the dam and rush unrestrained.
I stand beneath the collapsed thicket of trees,
Upturned in the tempest.
You summon me with a wave of your hand
To bestow upon me the address
Of a sky overflowing with stars.
