Moderator 
A POETIC EMBRACE OF PEACE
I send my peace into this world,
to bathe all souls in gentle light,
to soften every human heart,
and drive the darkest forces from our sight.
I send an embrace through these verses of mine,
so every soul may feel once more
the child within, held safe and warm,
dreaming in a mother's loving arms.
May the darkness leave our hearts at last,
the darkness that has chained our grace and care.
May peace be set forever free,
to guide us toward a world more fair.
I send the rays of my own heart,
to strengthen souls that long for liberty.
And with deep yearning I pray to every angel:
may no rocket ever fall again upon humanity.
May humankind abandon hate,
for hatred shatters all it dares to touch.
People, let wisdom lead your way,
help this world endure, and flourish once so much.
May this poetic embrace of peace
find its way to every waiting heart,
with the hope that no one ever again
will tear another life apart.
